Tomato Halwa

Tomato Halwa - Ingredients:
Tomatoes 400gms
corn flour 75gms
sugar 300gms
ghee or butter 75gms
cashew nuts, roasted 25gms
almonds, roasted 25gms
cardamom powder 5gms
Tomato Halwa - Directions:
  1. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and blend them to a fine puree. Sieve through a fine cloth and separate from the pulp.

  2. To the tomato puree, add 1 glass of water and corn flour. Mix well and set aside.

  3. Mix sugar along with 1 cup of water and bring to a boil for few minutes.

  4. While boiling, add tomato mixture to the sugar syrup and mix well until the mixture thickens.

  5. Now, add ghee and stir for few minutes until it mixes well.

  6. Later, add cashew nuts, almonds, cardamom powder and mix well.

  7. Pour the mixture over a greased plate and set aside until it gets cooled. When cooled, cut into diamond shaped pieces.

Milk Cake

Milk Cake - Ingredients:
flour 2 cups
milk 1 cup
eggs 4
sugar 2 cups
Butter 4 tbsp
vanilla 1 tsp
baking powder 1 tsp
salt a pinch
Milk Cake - Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a tube pan.

  2. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder and set aside. Cream eggs and sugar.

  3. Add to flour mixture.

  4. Bring milk and butter to a boil, then gradually add to mixture with vanilla.

  5. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes

Mango Pudding

Mango Pudding - Ingredients:
mango pulp 3 cups
sugar 1 cup
cheese cream 8 oz
gelatine 3 packets
water 3 cups
Mango Pudding - Directions:
  1. Dissolve gelatine in half cup of hot water, allow it to cool.

  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a blender including the dissolved gelatine and whip it to a smooth cosistency, pour it into a dessert dish and allow it to set in the fridge for 6-8 hours .

Keshar Pista Kulfi

Keshar Pista Kulfi - Ingredients:
evaporated milk 5 cups
condensed milk 2 cups
whipped cream 4 tbsp
Pista crushed, unsalted, toasted 1 cup
saffron a pinch
Keshar Pista Kulfi - Directions:
  1. Mix evaporated milk, condensed milk and whipped cream with a hand mixer in a bowl .

  2. Mix in the pista and saffron.

  3. Put into a air tight container and put in the freezer for 2 hours.

Orange Cake

Ingredients:
Sugar 1 cup
Juice of orange 1
All purpose flour (Maida)1 cup
Egg yolks 5
Baking powder 3 tsp
Directions:
  1. Mix all the above ingredients ina bowl.

  2. Fold in 5 egg whites.

  3. Pour mixture into a buttered cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Lower oven heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 30 minutes. Remove the cake from oven and cool.

  4. When cake has cooled, remove from pan to a cake plate.

  5. Cut to small pieces and serve

Mango Pudding

A delicious mango snack

Ingredients:

mango pulp 3 cups
sugar 1 cup
cheese cream 8 oz
gelatine 3 packets
water 3 cups

Directions:

1. Dissolve gelatine in half cup of hot water, allow it to cool.

2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a blender including the dissolved gelatine and whip it to a smooth cosistency, pour it into a dessert dish and allow it to set in the fridge for 6-8 hours .

Vanilla Cake

Delicious vanilla cake which can be a good snacks for your Children!!

Ingredients:

All purpose flour 2 cups
Powdered Sugar 2 cups
Eggs 2
vanilla essence 1 tsp
yogurt or butter milk 1/2 cup
unsalted butter 1/2 cup
baking soda 1/2 tsp
baking powder 1/2 tsp


Directions:

1. Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda together.

2. Beat butter and sugar till light.

3. Add eggs mix it .

4. Add yogurt and mix well.

5. Finally add the vanilla essence.

6. Mix well and pour in a greased cake tin.

7. Bake for 30-45 minutes at 350oF.
